Who needs this training?
Persons working in facilities delivering mutual aid based around the 12 Step programme. Persons needing to maintain their professional registration. Persons working in addition services who would like to understand more about the 12 Step approach.
Why is this training important?
This training is aimed at persons who work in drug and alcohol services and those in a health and social care role who need to improve their knowledge. It is designed to develop the competence of persons in line with the DANOS/NOS based competence framework.

DETOX AND WITHDRAWAL TRAINING
Who needs this training?
This module will address the understanding of some of the general issues surrounding detoxification and withdrawal.
Why is this training important?
This training is aimed at persons who work in drug and alcohol services and those in a health and social care role who need to improve their knowledge. It is designed to develop the competence of persons in line with the DANOS/NOS based competence framework.
- 6 hours CPD classroom based.

This module will address any shortfall in the understanding of addiction with regards
to definition, meaning, effects and features and impact.
Why is this training important?
This training is aimed at persons who work in drug and alcohol services and those
in a health and social care role who need to improve their knowledge.
It is designed to develop the competence of persons in line with the DANOS/NOS
based competence framework.
